Publicim is a company based in Brussels, Belgium and was established in 2005. The Colibri card is a general spend Euro card targeted at students and the youth market.
The Colibri Prepaid Card is a fully functional card, however it is forecasted that the card will be used mostly for online purchases: unlike the UK, Belgium banks debit cards do not allow online transactions. A companion card option is available to share funds and the primary card holder is able to load funds directly on the Colibri card on-line using a debit or credit card. The Colibri program is one of two programs that use the White Eagle API for card applications, loads and account statements/balances.
