White Eagle Prepaid Maestro® Card

The White Eagle Prepaid Maestro Card was White Eagle's first programme, launched in May 2008. Initially targeting Eastern European migrants with a 'soft landing' as they arrive in the UK, the White Eagle Prepaid card provided the UK migrant working population with a 'payroll card' (in effect a virtual bank account), a money transfer card, low cost international telephone calls and 'soft landing' information services through 'Eagle Life,' our community web portal.
The White Eagle proposition had a number of benefits for the migrant worker:
- Instant banking facility to have their wages paid directly onto their card
- An online account facility
- A debit card that can never go overdrawn
- The best and most convenient way to transfer money
- Low cost International calls through Eagle Talk
- PAYG mobile phone
- Over 10 SMS commands including money transfer, account balance, real time exchange rates
