Application Programming Interfaces
It is important for White Eagle to share their services and technologies with authorised 3rd parties in the form of Application Programming Interfaces or API's. These API's have to confine to strict security guidelines. Security is in the form of IP address lock down and username/password credentials.
3.1 External Card Management API
This is the main suite of services provided to customers to allow them to access the White Eagle platform by means of web service calls. Some of the services include: balance enquiry, account transaction detail, pin reminder, card loading, balance adjustments etc. For a full list, implementation and other specifications, please see White Eagle API documentation.
3.2 Internal System API
This API is only accessible from within the White Eagle domain. It provides all services from Card Application to Mobile platform related services.
3.3 Pay Zone API
Was created on behalf of a white label programme to allow for the loading and reconciliation of cards via Pay Zone terminals located in Ireland.
